First Aid

When responding to the last Volunteers Survey, several people stressed the need for First Aid knowledge among all those involved in the sport. With this in mind, the Fund has produced a
Z leaflet, First Aid in Motorsport. As well as being a general guide to the subject, covering immediate care, spinal injuries, shock fractures, burns etc, it also has specific guidance on things which may crop up in the sport. £1 each (see Contacting the Fund).

Marshalling

A colour leaflet which folds down to credit card size and contains basic information on all aspects of marshalling. £1 each (see Contacting the Fund).

Marshalling leaflets (developed with the support of the FIA Institute for Motor Sport Safety) are also available in French, Italian, Spanish, and Chinese.

Kart Marshalling

This follows the same format as the Marshalling leaflet opposite but is specifically for those involved in karting. £1 each (see Contacting the Fund).

Kart Marshalling leaflets are also available in Spanish, Chinese, and Italian.

A Pocket Guide to Rescue

A 40 page booklet specifically intended for rescue crews who may be faced with extricating drivers from crashed cars.
£1 each.

A Pocket Guide to Marshalling

This 56 page booklet covers all aspects of marshalling. Contents include personal equipment, the essentials of fire fighting as well as advice on marshalling at circuits, rallies and other events. £1 each.

Rescue Manual

An A4 manual of 68 pages covering in detail the equipment and strategies needed to extricate drivers from crashed cars. Fully illustrated. Priced £10.

Badge

Following requests from marshals who wanted to show their support for the Fund, a metal badge is available at £5.

Information Sheets

Several marshals have suggested that the two pages of information built-in to the Fund's discontinued clipboards should be made available on-line.
